Project Life - Documenting the End of Christmas

I don't know about you, but, it's such a sad feeling in our house, when it's time to take down all the Holiday decor. The house looks SO empty once everything is put away and the tree is gone. (sigh) BUT, I was excited about saving something fun for the scrapbook today.

My son LOVES the fun holiday window clings. We've been using them for a couple years now and he loves to get out our binder and put up the clings each holiday. And I have to say, I love all the colorful shapes on our windows... and mirrors... and really anything that these things stick to.

So, while we were taking them down, I saved a couple snowflakes. I knew they would be a fun addition to our scrapbook layout this week. They not only add a fun translucent color to our page, but also a little squishy texture too. :)

Here is a tip if you decide to stick some of these in your books, be sure to include a transparent sheet in-between the clings and your page protector. The clings tend to 'shrink' or warp the page protector material. If you put a stiff transparency sheet in-between, it will protect your pages.

Sad for the season to be over, but so so happy and thankful for the memories we made this year. It was a wonderful Christmas.
